Other considerations

• If your dog eats beets, they may urinate dark pink or red for 12 to 24 hours. This is normal and shouldn't cause any medical problems.

• Beetroot contains oxalate, which can cause kidney stones and bladder stones in dogs in large quantities. Please consult with your vet.
